CWAB AWARDS: BIGGER . GREATER . GRANDER

The CONSTRUCTION WORLD Architect and Builder Awards were instituted by ASAPP Info Global Group in 2006. They are India’s most coveted awards for the architecture and building industry. The awards recognize the people and organizations responsible for the changing landscape of our country - the Top Architects and the Top Builders of India – and felicitate them. The growth of the event over the past 10 years is in tandem with the industry’s growth in India and has gained in stature and importance with each passing year.

The CWAB Awards, for the past 10 years, have featured the best speakers from across the globe who have spoken on various themes like INNOVISION, YOUTH, GREEN etc. The 10th year event celebrated the DECADE OF EXCELLENCE where we felicitated all our past winners – with over 50 of them, it was perhaps the largest gathering of Architects and Builders across the country on one platform.

We’re turning 12 this year! Proud to have our legacy of awarding India’s Top Architects and Builders continue, this year, we’re introducing a brand new theme – GLOCAL. Thinking and getting inspired by the global landscape, keeping in mind the particularities of the local environment, the 12th CWAB Awards 2017 will award the best and brightest minds not just across the Top Architect & Top Builder categories, but also across Noteworthy Projects which was introduced in 2016 to commemorate our new decade of CWAB. Along with awarding projects in metros, Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, this category will also recognise the Top 5 Interior Designers in the country. The crème de la crème of the industry are selected through a perception-based survey, following by a stringent jury selection process.

Entries for the Noteworthy Projects and Interior Designer categories are solicited through a general call for entries against a minimum threshold for years in the business, range and quality of work among several other factors. Again, a jury makes the final selection.

It’s time to award the best in the business in a night of prestige and glamour!
This year the CONSTRUCTION WORLD ARCHITECT AND BUILDER AWARDS will have a great variety of excellent projects, varying from the frugal and sensitive to the robust and exquisitely detailed, with all submissions visited of great merit.
Top Architects & Builders of the Decade
For the past ten years, CW has conducted perception-based surveys to determine the industry's choice of top architects and top builders.

The following steps comprise of our selection methodology.

Shortlisting

The CWAB awards are unique as the shortlist is drawn-up by our editorial team. Our editors lead the nomination process and take responsibility for the due diligence. Extensive research is done on each nomination following which a dossier is sent out to jury members for deliberations before the jury meet. They conduct extensive research in the months leading up to the awards.

Survey

Survey is driven by stringent criteria and a robust methodology along with a comprehensive multi city survey, A survey takes place in which all the companies are screened based on various parameters.

The architects, industry associations, and consultants from various parts of the country are contacted to suggest names to be put in the final voting list.

Jury

The nominees in each category will be presented to the jury for determination of winners. The jury will score each nominee based on pre-defined evaluation parameters.

The winners are then decided by a jury of distinguished, independent panel of industry practitioners who cast their vote on the shortlisted companies/individuals.

Jury’s decision will be final and binding on all Participants.

TESTIMONIALS

My heart felt congratulations to all of you for making the 9th edition of Construction World Architect & Builder (CWAB) Awards held on August 22, 2014 at Hotel Four Seasons in Mumbai a grand success. This is the most prestigious and mega award event for the Indian construction industry. I highly acknowledge and appreciate your expertise management in making the show truly remarkable and fabulous.

Mala singh, Managing Director, PEC Greening India Group

Kindly allow me to congratulate you for successfully taking the CW Architect and Builder Awards event to great heights! With high energy levels, the whole show was professionally well managed. Devika Devaiah’s (author of Orbit Shifting Innovation) vibrant speech on innovation was an icing on the cake!
A few years back, we, at India Chapter of American Concrete Institute, organised a similar yearly event for best structures in different categories. That said, you could consider having an award for indigenous innovation in the field of construction.

Chetan R Raikar, Structwel Designers & Consultants Pvt Ltd

I attended the 9th CW Architect & Builder Awards and was highly impressed. It is such a rarity to see so many of India's top architects and builders get together at one platform. Kudos to your team for having put up an event par excellence.

A Rao, Architect

I was delighted to have witnessed the 9th CWAB AWARDS in August 2014 in Mumbai. The event was marked by high level of participation from the industry, at both, institutional and individual, levels. Such events create a positive impact on the professionals in particular and the society at large, in general. The event was organised and conducted very methodically and professionally, for which I extend my hearty felicitations to Shri Pratap Padode and his dedicated team.

Sudhir Krishna

The CWAB awards is indeed an innovative front runner, designed to bring the industry together. It creates an opportunity for celebration and recognition, but more importantly it also creates a platform for future leaders to direct the course of the industry. Having seen how awards are designed and conducted up close, I am happy to say the CWAB awards is a robustly designed and implemented process- a great achievement, indeed. My congratulations to ASAPP media and Falguni and Pratap Padode on the successful occasion of the 1th CWAB awards. I do hope it grows from strength to strength and it becomes a reference point for other industries too.
